David A. Turpin (Coach Turpin) is the founder and lead master coach at Top Tier Coaching. Those who have worked directly with Coach Turpin describe his ability to connect with his clients through a gift of awareness, intuition and a unique communication style that helps his clients along their journey of reaching goals. His passion for sports, business, community and personal development helps his clients stay focused so they can reach their specific goals. He practices what he preaches every day, which helps him connect with his clients along their journey of success. Reaching a goal and dream is not easy! Coach Turpin understands the unique obstacles of his clients. Throughout the years he has developed techniques, programs and philosophies that help Coach Turpin partner with his clients to create an opportunity flow toward success.  

Coach Turpin was the second of four boys and raised in a highly competitive sports minded family in Indiana. He played every sport growing up and earned high school varsity letters in cross country, basketball and baseball before continuing his baseball career in college. He married his wife, LaDonna, in 1993 and has two children along with 5 grandchildren to date. He retired after 30 years of professional experience in sales, management, and C-level suite business development. His entrepreneur spirit has led him to start many successful businesses over the years including an oil producing company in Illinois, a rental property company and a professional coaching business. He has coached many sports teams over the years including high school basketball, baseball, as well as Division I golf at the University of Southern Indiana.  Coach Turpin’s drive for personal development led him to return to college on a fresh start program which allowed him to finish his Business Administration degree in 2018 and his MBA in 2019. He earned a dual certification as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and earned credentials as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
